Apps

Our first game, PocketYut, is getting ready for release.

PocketYut

PocketYut 포켓윷놀이

Yut Nori, Korea’s traditional board game. Lay one phone flat in the middle of the table and play around it.

  • One phone in the middle: swipe up anywhere on the screen to toss the sticks, or just shake the phone.
  • Solo or teams: up to four players head to head, or up to eight split into teams. Short of players? AI fills the empty seats.
  • House rules: back-do, falling off the board, an extra toss for a capture, number of pieces, board gadgets: play it your way.
  • Dojo challenge: take on twenty-one masters, each with their own style, and unlock new boards as you break through.
  • Online play: a friend with one room code, or anyone right away. Ranked matches follow a new rule set each day, with a weekly leaderboard.
  • Yut fortune: toss three times and read today’s sign from 64 fortunes.
  • Customize: space, beach and folk-village boards, rice-cake, hot-dog and green-onion sticks, and stamps to send mid-game.
  • Penalty wheel: write your own forfeits and spin for whoever finishes last.

PocketYut roadmap

Big updates we plan to bring after launch.

Season 1

Yut fortunes, renewed

A 64-sign fortune book to collect, daily luck missions woven into play, a fortune-teller character brought to life with sound, and a charm of the day to share.

Season 2

North Korean rules, more dojos, new boards

North Korean–style rules with two back-do sticks and a “back-gae” that moves two steps back, new dojo masters to challenge, and new yut boards.

How we make them

One phone, everyone plays

Lay one phone flat in the middle of the table and you’re ready. Everyone gathers around the same board and tosses in turn.

Usable without a manual

Pick it up for the first time and just swipe up and the sticks fly. The game keeps track of the rules for you.

Table play is free

Solo, team and dojo games are free and ad-free. No loot boxes, and money can’t buy rank.
